About Us

Miss Laura's School of Dance opened it's doors on August 1, 2012. We started with a staff of just 7 instructors and 3 receptionists, with only two dance rooms. We have already expanded to include a third dance room, extra office and extra storage space, and we are now up to 9 instructors, plus seasonal instructors and choreographers.  We have a beautiful dance studio in the heart of Peoria Heights, with a passionate staff and some very talented dancers. We are very impressed with the growth of our students in the few years we have been open and can't wait to see what this year has in store!

Mission Statement

Dancing is an outlet for emotion and creativity. Our goal at Miss Laura’s School of Dance, Ltd. is to build a solid technical foundation and inspire a passion for dance which allows dancers to pursue their dreams. We will provide children of all ages the opportunity to learn how to dance, build confidence, and make friends.  We offer many styles of dance with programs designed for any level of interest and with affordable prices. We pride ourselves on providing quality dance education in an honest, respectful and welcoming environment.
